In this series my intention is to capture the architecture of the landscape, to expose its geometric quality and underlying structure. The inspiration for this series comes from Asian aesthetics wherein simple observations, such as raindrops on the surface of water, can transport you into a contemplative state of mind. The resulting pieces in this series tend towards an encompassing Zen quality.
